Candy-Colored Shoes from Tribute!

I bought a new pair Tribute Shoes and I love them so much! I fell in love with the colors immediately! Aren’t they the cutest? “CANDY!” was my mom’s first reaction! Haha! Anyway, I was planning to do an outfit post for this but I couldn’t find anything in my closet to match the shoes. Shucks! Any suggestions? Maybe I’ll have a sea-green/robin-blue skirt made! Heehee.

I’m not a great shopper and I’m not really into fashion (except for fall/winter clothes, which is weird because we don’t even have fall/winter in Manila!) but sometimes I find really cute pieces that I wanna share with you guys. My favorite detail is this green stripe at the back of each shoe! So adorable!

Check out their other shoes and like their FB page! They come up with new styles regularly! What do you guys think? ♥

What I’m wearing tonight for Philippine Fashion Week.
I have no idea at all what people wear on these kind of events, plus I don’t think I’m very good at this whole fashion thing, so please forgive and understand. Eep! Hehe. I’m pretty excited for tonight though!
What I’m wearing: Dress from Space. Brown scarf from Babo. Grey scarf from China. Necklaces from Forever 21. Shoes from Matthews. Bag is a vintage Dior from my mommy!

Clock charms from Gingersnaps, which I detached from the original necklace and attached to this to make a new piece. I like Mr. Clock-With-The-Mustache. Hee.

Guess who joined the bandwagon and had a shopping spree? ♥
When I heard that people were falling in line just to get in the store, my first reaction was “I will not conform! I will not go!” Next thing I knew, I was lining up with my mom. Thank God it only took us around 5 minutes of waiting and we were in! I spent so much time on the headbands section! They had such cute pieces! And I was finally able to buy a pair of shades! I’ve been looking for a nice pair! Place was so huge I got dizzy and didn’t know where to go next! Haha!
Didn’t buy a lot yet because I know people are flocking the store now and it’s always awkward to see someone wearing the same exact thing at the same exact place so, trying to avoid that! But still I couldn’t resist some of the stuff. Hee. Oh well.
PS. That is my “I’m very tired after shopping so much today” look. I’m sorry. :(

The Sheena-Does-Not-Have-a-Lookbook Edition
What I will probably wear today. Will be out shopping with my mom on the afternoon (so maybe I won’t wear the heels just yet) and will be hanging out with my friends from the China trip tonight. Excited to reminisce about our memories in Zhuhai and our backpacking adventures in Hunan & Guangzhou. They were the absolute best.
Got the necklace for 7 yuan in China (35 pesos / barely a dollar!) I love China. The belt and the stripped top are my mom’s. Actually, the shoes are as well but I wear it all the time so it’s sort of mine now. Hehe.

What I wore yesterday / What my brother calls my “Golfer’s Wife” outfit. ♥
Because this is not what I usually wear (and because I enjoy playing dress-up soemtimes), I drew what I wore! Lame! Haha! No, I just really like that my brother said I looked like a golfer’s wife. It’s one of my life dreams to become a wife!
I’m usually against expensive branded clothes, but my mom insisted on giving me those that don’t fit her anymore, so. I feel guilty for liking the Lacoste shirts.

Because it’s Christmas… I am wearing a skirt. ♥
I normally do not wear skirts. Now I’m off to have Christmas lunch with my family and relatives on the father side. Toodliedoo!

Yesterday, my mother convinced me to get a flower-printed skirt and a squirrel-printed dress. Guess which one I liked best.
On other news:
I just found out that there is such a thing as a Corner Chomper! I am officially on a quest to look for a store in Manila that sells one!
I’m sad because I cannot go to Sunday service today because my mom forbade me to do so because I am, once again (and as always) sick.
I’m going to our family Christmas lunch though, because I am required to do so.
I’m haven’t finished my Christmas shopping! GAAH! Cramming much.

My Sunday Afternoon.
All week I’ve been so eager to go to Rockwell because I wanted to buy the book “Best in Travel 2010”. When I finally got there, we stopped by Zara first because my brother wanted to look for clothes. Then I saw the boots. And I loved it. And mom convinced me to get it (it didn’t take much convincing) so I bought it.
Then I went to the bookstore and saw the book I liked. But then beside it I saw another new Lonely Planet book (my heart belongs to Lonely Planet) called “1000 Ultimate Experiences” and I wanted to get it too. So for a (very) long time, I debated with myself.
I ended up not buying either of the books because I felt guilty for spending on the boots. Crap. You have to understand; I love books more than clothes. Or shoes. And I plan to go backpacking (hmm) after I graduate, which is on March 2010. And I love traveling. And I can sum up the things I like in three words: drawing, traveling and books. (I really like my boots though!)
So anyway, I’m still debating. I know you probably don’t care. But just in case someone out there likes books or traveling too, there. Which book should I get (or should I get both) and should I wait for Fully Booked or Powerbooks to go on sale?
