Got invited to attend a Smart-HTC press event last Friday (how I spent my 11/11/11!) and I was finally able to check out their latest phones!

I’ve been hearing lots of buzz about these HTC phones lately because people have been saying that it has more features than the iPhone. So imagine my excitement when I received an invite to attend the press event. Haha! Finally, I was able to check it out myself and I have to say, it’s pretty awesome!

The HTC screens are big! Plus, it’s really really thin and light! But the thing I was most impressed about is how responsive its touchscreen was! I’m one of those people who complain that only Apple can make really awesome touchscreens (the Blackberry touchscreens are horrible, ask my fiancé) but clearly, that’s not true anymore! On a totally useless and unrelated note: my hair isn’t that brown… the flash made my hair look two-toney weird. Haha! Oh, and I really like our photos! Yay! Thank you Smart/HTC & Connect Agencie.

That’s not even half of it yet! It’s 7 feet high! Oh my!

Just came home from the YFC-Ateneo talk where I was invited to speak and they gave me this super cute shirt, which I love! I love it so much, I’m blogging about it already, just an hour or so after! Haha! Hi, you guys!

I didn’t expect so much people to attend so I was really nervous when I saw people coming in (hehe) but it was all good. The people were so nice and we took photos and I signed some stuff after, and it was really fun! Yaaay! I’m excited for them to post the photos on Tumblr!

I feel so privileged that I am given the chance to share about my God to so many people. I am one of the least worthy to do so and of that I’m sure, but still, God has been using me to reach out to others and it is all only through His grace that I am able to do it successfully . I really really love what I am doing right now. Praise God. ♥

Graphika Manila yesterday inspired me to work on my illustrations again. I realized that I’ve put so many projects on hold, like the book I’m working on, the exhibit I was planning to have, the short cartoon I’ve been conceptualizing, new merchandise design, etc. I realized yesterday that I could do so many things but I haven’t been doing them. But if the time to do these things isn’t now, then when else, right? 

Met some followers of my art and they had their photos taken with me! First time this has ever happened and it feels so weird, haha! But it’s always nice to meet people who like your work. Hello you guys! If you’re posting the photos, do show me! Oh and saw some posts here on Tumblr saying they saw me. Next time say hello! I’d really love to meet you all. :)

July 2008: My 20th Birthday Party at McDonald’s!

Two years ago, when I turned 20, I decided to have a kiddie-but-formal princess birthday party at McDonald’s. Everyone wore formal clothes and furry girly headbands. Yay! I love that my friends are all super game. Fun fun night!

Graphika Manila tickets! Going with my fellow artist friends Mark Gosingtian and Scott Ngo. Wasn’t really planning on going but these guys brought the subject up so… yeah. We decided we should go. Yay!

Sheena Loves Sunsets merchandise were sold yesterday at the special screening of Amazing Grace! Part of the proceeds go to the benefit of The Orange Project. This was all after the 5pm showing. I love my supportive friends forever. Yay!

And yes, Mark Gosingtian is my official model and he’s very enthusiastic about it. Haha! Mark: “Picture tayo, post mo, reblog ko!”
