Peter Pan makes me nostalgic because when we were little me and my brothers would pretend we were Wendy, John and Michael (we’re also 3 siblings and I’m the eldest sister just like Wendy) and we would jump off our parents’ beds screaming “I can fly! I can fly!” We even have this childhood video of us singing “Happy birthday Michael” to my brother whose name is Charles (definitely NOT Michael) and my mom was at the background saying “Stop saying Michael!” Haha! Fun times.
Peter Pan is a wonderful story, a true classic. I love the setting of the story (London!), I love the time, I love they way they spoke, I love that Wendy is so proper and poised, I love Tinkerbell being feisty, I love Peter being Peter and then there are those pretty mermaids at the Mermaid Lagoon, which is my favorite scene ever. Basically I love everything about it. And I love watching Peter Pan over and over again. I just never get tired of it! ♥
SPINNER 360 LOMO CAM FROM MY PARENTS! WOOOAH!!!
When they came back from Hong Kong early this week, they gave me a gift-wrapped box and told me not to open it before my birthday. So I opened it today! AND WAA. I super did not expect this because I never mentioned anything about lomo cams! I love the fact that they know me super well. Hehe! YAAAAY! IM SO EXCITED TO USE THIS!
I can’t wait to take a 360 shot of my room! Parents are the best!

As of July 3, 2010: Sheena’s Original Disney DVD Collection ♥
I am proud to say that when I had my first summer job (back when I was in 3rd year high school), I spent part of my first paycheck ever on three Disney DVDs: Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Hercules. They were the first ones! Then, I got so obsessed… I mean, inspired, with the special behind-the-scene extras that I vowed to collect them all.
Thankfully, local video stores have Disney DVDs on sale all the time (except the new ones) so it’s just a matter of patience and timing, and whether I have enough money to spare or not. My mom says I’m crazy for spending all the money I earn on books, Disney DVD’s and plane tickets but I think she just wants me to spend my money on “normal, girly things” like clothes. Hehe.
On other news, I watched Cars again the other night (for the nth time) with my brother (who saw it for the first time; how lame!) and I still LOVE Luigi. “Luigi follow only ze Ferrari.” Also, I’m watching Toy Story 3 (2nd time!) on IMAX (1st time!) today! Bring on the easter eggs!

I got to be Ariel, Jasmine and a princess on a lilypad. My brother got to surf a magic carpet, be a wind god and poop poop. How we enjoy the beach. ♥
Leaving for Coron, Palawan! Weekend getaway with the family! ♥
Since I’m not a very ‘beach-person’, I would probably just be playing in the sand, pretending I’m Ariel and taking cliche photos of sunsets. I will also most probably get fat because we’ll be having buffet meals for three days. Can’t wait! See you all in a few days!
