Last June, the four of us started Tuesday Bible Studies (TBS) at CCF. Armed with nothing but prayers and the Word of God, we braved it all and held our very first session. We had around 10 attendees (but had no idea if they were gonna come back again the following week) 6 months later, we still have TBS regularly, we still don’t have a permanent room, but we’re over 30 now (and growing!), and I found a lot of the most amazing people from this group. The four of us, most especially, have grown so much closer with each other and with the Lord within those 6 months. God is indeed faithful and I praise God for using such unworthy people such us ourselves to share His love to others. *u*

We had our Christmas Party last Tuesday and I gave the 3 of them mugs with their own cartoon and personal life verses. Speaking of which, I’m curious, do you have a life verse? If you do, what’s yours? Mine is Proverbs 31:30: “Charm is deceptive, beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”

* A lot have been asking for personalized mug designs and I’ve always said I don’t accept. But I only say that because I would have to price it real high since it’s counted as a commissioned artwork already. Mummy got me Little Twin Stars oven mittens!!! ♥

I have never been the type to cook and bake. But last Monday, I invited my good friend Lauren to teach me. We (me, Lauren and our other friend who’s also named Sheena, hehe!) ended up making really good pasta and quesadilla wraps for the boys who came over (we had a meeting). Super fun! So fun, we forgot to take photos! I also prepared homemade milk tea, which my friend Barby taught me. Nummy!

Anyway, so my mom, being all supportive, came home today and gave me this! YAY! AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW ALREADY, I SUPER LOVE LITTLE TWIN STARS AND I SUPER LOVE PRETTY THINGS! I am now very encouraged to spend more time in the kitchen. Will buy a cutey patootey apron to go with it and maybe some other pink kitchen stuff… Haha!

Nevermind the fact that we do not have an oven… and yes, my nails are pink with white polka dots.

July 2008: My 20th Birthday Party at McDonald’s!

Two years ago, when I turned 20, I decided to have a kiddie-but-formal princess birthday party at McDonald’s. Everyone wore formal clothes and furry girly headbands. Yay! I love that my friends are all super game. Fun fun night!

Isa is one of my closest friends, one of my favorite writers and definitely one of the most honest, most amazing people I’ve ever met. I am the one blessed to have her in my life.

My D12 surprised me last Saturday! Advanced birthday celebration!

I thought I was only having lunch with Isa (who had balloons in the car haha!) but when we got to Burgoo, my other fellow D12-mates (plus Lianne!) were there and they surprised me with lots of drawings on the table, messages on a not-yet-printed card, a tiara that they made me wear plus a birthday ice cream with a candle. Haha! Thank you, you guys are the best!

This is the D12 that I’m part of, not the one that I’m leading. Isa is my discipler, Lianne is Isa’s discipler and Pia and Bebeng are my co-disciples. Hehe! Oh and, my birthday isn’t until this Saturday. :)

Graphika Manila tickets! Going with my fellow artist friends Mark Gosingtian and Scott Ngo. Wasn’t really planning on going but these guys brought the subject up so… yeah. We decided we should go. Yay!

Yesterday at SM Cinema 4 as mentioned in previous posts. ♥

Sheena Loves Sunsets merchandise were sold yesterday at the special screening of Amazing Grace! Part of the proceeds go to the benefit of The Orange Project. This was all after the 5pm showing. I love my supportive friends forever. Yay!

And yes, Mark Gosingtian is my official model and he’s very enthusiastic about it. Haha! Mark: “Picture tayo, post mo, reblog ko!”

One of my closest friends, Milka, just started her own Lookbook account! I miss her so much because she’s currently based in Hong Kong and I haven’t seen her in ages! Anyway. I swear she has the best clothes! Follow her now and hype her outfits! How can you resist that adorable face? HYPE MILKA’S LOOKS!

Yesterday afternoon was full of pandas, cupcakes and pretty things. ♥

Isa’s room is so pretty. I should take more photos next time. So we stuffed ourselves with cupcakes and brownies, talked about God, talked about our lives and took photos with the birds on the walls. It was a pretty pretty afternoon.

Had dgroup today with Isa (themorninglight) , Pia (swillmerchant) and Bebeng. But Bebeng already left before we took these photos. Had so much fun petting the cutey patootey panda! HEE. And I super love the birds on the walls! I missed having dgroup with these girls so much!
