This is my collection of handicraft dolls from all over the world! I bought a lot of these myself during my travels, but a lot were also given to me by my family and friends when they visit places I’ve never been to yet (like the ones from Russia, Taiwan and Peru) while there are also some which were bought at countries they did not originally come from (like the one from Tibet which I got here in Manila and two from India which I got at Singapore) Dolls from the following countries: Russia, Germany, Singapore, India, Korea, Peru, Malaysia, Thailand, Jordan, UK, Macau, Taiwan, Tibet, Thailand, Hong Kong and China! PRESENTING MY TRAVEL & ART WALL! ♥ When I look at the wall, filled with drawings, travel photos and souvenirs, I cannot help but feel immensely blessed that God has given me so many opportunities and experiences already at this age. Everything here makes me feel nostalgic. It’s definitely full of memories! My DVD shelf with some other random things! ♥ I’ll be changing the iHome thing there once I earn enough to buy new speakers because it doesn’t work anymore with the new iPods. And yes, surprisingly enough I own a football ball. My best friend gave it to me during the 2006 FIFA hype because I was super into watching the games! How very unlikely of me, I know! But I really loved Les Bleus (the French Team) and I was so sad when they didn’t win the championship! Click here to see other photos of my room!

For all those asking for more photos of my room! ♥ This is the door to my bathroom. The sign, like mentioned in the photo, is something I bought when I visited Paris last 2006 (same place where I got these). It says “Bain” or bath, in French and it’s vintage-y, which I love. But since the blue-ish color didn’t match the color scheme of my room, my mom and I decided to go ‘artsy’ and stuck together ribbons and stuff. Click here to see other photos of my room!

I’m more than halfway done with my packing! SO EXCITED! HEEHEE! ♥ In case you haven’t seen my previous posts, I’m gonna be joining the CCF Holy Land Bible Study Tour this April! I’m leaving on the night of the 8th, so that’s 9-23rd! Will be visiting Egypt, Jordan and Israel. I’m so so excited! I’ll be with a LOT of my friends from ministry and I’m also going with a lot of my close friends. In fact, I’ll be rooming with my best friend (who I know is reading this, hello, Lorrie!) so it’s going to be super super fun! They gave us a standard red and blue ribbon to place on our luggage which sort of made me sad because mine always had a pink ribbon. Huhu.

You might find this familiar if you’ve seen this drawing. People have been asking me to post more photos of my room and I’m so sorry that I still haven’t done that because it’s still SO MESSY. I mean, look at this photo, so many things on my beds, the drawers are opened, one of the clocks aren’t working, etc. Haha! I promise I’ll be posting photos of my room, but I’ll have to clean it up first, okay? Took this photo yesterday before I went out to have lunch with my best friends because I was trying out the new remote that I got for my camera (it works!) A new section that I’m fixing up in my room! ♥ Originally, there was no table here; only the pink bench and the artworks. But then my mom and I decided to maximize the space so last week, we brought in one of our fold-able desks, threw in a cloth (that one’s only for the meantime, until I get a better one) and turned into, ta-da, my second workplace (see first workplace here!) Today we had an electrician come and install 3 additional lights on the ceiling so that the area is well-lit and I’m so happy because my room is now even brighter! The whole section is still going to be redesigned. I’m gonna buy a new table cloth and change/rearrange/add the drawings on the walls. I might move the clock and those four big Art Nouveau posters to another location (both of which I got from Paris!) I’ll be posting a before-and-after once it’s finished. CAN’T WAIT!

Sheena’s Dork Side! You may or may not know this but I am a Lord of the Rings & Star Wars dork! LOTR Special Extended Edition Set and Remastered Star Wars IV-VI! Gaah! I still lack Attack of the Clones! WHY! But anyway. HEEHEE I die! See them cute M&Ms! I got those off Amazon.com a few years ago and they always make me giggle. Darth Vader’s at the back, though you might not see him (got him from a cereal promo), and yes, I have a Gringgotts bank! I have to look for my bag of Berttie Bott’s. I also used to be a huge Harry Potter geek until book 6 (which I did not like at all). But after seeing the teasers for the upcoming Harry Potter Theme Park, maybe I’ll be a fan again. Maybe. Off to watch The Phantom Menace!

Me in my workspace (aka one of my favorite places in the world!) ♥ Practiced shooting using my tripod this morning. Decided to take shots of my desk! People have been asking me to post photos of my room so here’s one more (see the tag “Sheena’s Room” for more)! I didn’t bother fixing my table first so… yeah. And I’m sure you are asking: Where does Sheena find the time to do this? Doesn’t she have homework? Actually, I do. And that’s all I can say. Tell me if you find anything interesting. I’m off to church!

Redesigned my cork board today. ♥(Click image to zoom and click this to see how it used to look like) Also rewrote my 100-things-to-do-before-I-die list. You’ll notice that the first part consists of almost nothing else but travel goals. I love the nametag I got when I attended the press conference of my favorite NatGeo show: Somewhere in China. So lucky I was there! (You have to watch this show) There’s also my volunteer ID during the Ondoy Relief Operations. It’s special to me. Purikura photos! They placed a heart drawing on my tummy because those three always tease me that my tummy is big (they call me fat-fat sometimes haha!) The quote on love was from my mom’s old things. She typed this when she was just a fresh grad. Vintage, yes. Did you find something interesting?
